Monthly DIMES data & Routers files

Hi,

it seems, that the monthly generation of the DIMES data under http://www.netdimes.org/DIMESControlCen ... lyData.jsp has been stopped. Does someone know why, and when the data will be updated in the future?

The meaning of the routers files is a bit unclear for me: It lists an index and the routers ip address. Does the index identify the router, such that different router ip addresses refer to the same index? Corresponds the router ip addresses to the addresses included in the nodes files?

We have a problem with updating the monthly data, but it will be fixed soon. Currently we have till Feb 2008.

Routers file - each router is given an index. All IPs that we map to the same router are given with the same index.

i would like to ask about the earlier files the you had before for the AS"Nodes and Edges. all that i found now was from Jan 2007 till Feb 2008.

will u upload the rest of the files that existed before, starting from Oct 2004 till dec 2006??

Hi Sara,
we decided not to keep all the topologies in .csv format and have only 2007-2008 data available at the moment. Of course we can generate these files again if you really need them. What time period are you interested in?

Hi Galina,

i'm one of the M-PASM development team, which is a tool that uses ur files to make some measurements on the AS map. i used to analyze the data files starting with the very first data file you have, and anyone who uses this tool was able to import any of ur files from your site to work with them.

i noticed that the files are zipped and for the time being i've updated the tool to work with that, but what is missing now is the rest of the files which i was hoping to find on ur site again after the last update, and now i'm wondering from where can i access them through the tool.

I was not aware you need these old files, thus our decision to delay their re-building. We will generate them in a matter of a few weeks.
