How to load a layout at dimes startup?

I see we have the ability to turn tabs on and off and to save those changes in a 'layout' in dimes. I was wondering how I can load a saved layout automatically when dimes starts?

I don't see any way to do it from the program interface and the properties.xml file doesn't seem to contain anything that relates to layouts - is it possible at all?
