Hi Guys,
Few days ago we found that the algorithm which analyzes adds edges that it is not supposed to add. As a result we re-ran it over all of the data gathered by DIMES since September, and dropped all of the wrong data. As you probably saw, the aggregate number of edges dropped from 43000 to 37000 in one day. Consequently, users' statistics were also updated.
I'm sorry for the dissapointment, but I'm sure we'll get on the horse fast.
It might interest you that we already found about 10000 edges that were previously unknown on the Internet and we have the most comprehensive map of the net.
Soon we plan to introduce also weekly competitions, to spice up things.
Sorry again,
Eran
