Dimes statistics

Postby iconized2 » Sat May 19, 2012 10:04 am

Hello,

Might be that the project management hasn't seen the statistics lately, but it is a mess:
https://www.netdimes.org/new/data.php?getAll=GroupsByMeas

It has been like that since May 9. Is there an ETA when it will be resolved?

Regards,

Any progress on fixing the "Teams by Number of Measurement Units Done" stats?
All teams are still showing 0

Of course, it could be a coincidence but Free-DC stats for dimes hasn't updated since May 9th.

Code: Select all
www.netdimes.org/new/data.php?getAll=GroupsByMeas
does not work:

I'm amazed that this hasn't been fixed. Is Dimes still a viable project or are we wasting our resources?

The only way to get any stats is through the Volunteer Control Panel, this shows me that the project is still working as my points are still going up. However, I've no idea which of my my machines are still working as I don't have time to check the points on each one individually. It should be noted that none of the the moderators or admin staff have visited this forum since the 25th of May. It's a shame that the project is being neglected like this.

Hi Pete, looks like we're the only ones who still care enough even to post. I've started pulling my clients as they develop problems. This project is apparently in the process of dying from neglect. Too bad, but there's nothing we can do about it.

Dimes was removed from the DC-Vault on May 28th due to the stats problem and because the Dimes admins did not respond to their queries. If the stats were to be fixed soon I suppose it would be added back in, but it doesn't look like that will happen. Probably would take 10 minutes or so

I have PM'd the forum admin, if there's no reply I think we can all assume that the project has finished.

Pete please let us know what happens, its been 3 days now. Looks like its time to delete Dimes off all the 'puters in my pharm. When the "Dead project" announcement is confirmed here I'll post on the AMD Users forum too.

Thanks

Opps, sorry about that, should have posted a message: The DIMES project is NOT dead. We have, however, had a major server meltdown in May, and have been trying to recover since, so we've been slow in addressing this problem. Apologies to all.
The statistics are being worked on presently, and hopefully should be back to updating soon.
Thanks, and apologies again,
BoazH, DIMES team.
